Some infuriating schematic capture "features"

Some infuriating"features" of schematic capture.

1) When in a lower block in the hierarchy, and you want to select output(s) with the tedious "ADE_explorer>setup>select on design>outputs to be plotted" the capture tool sends you straight back to the top level of hierarchy.
This only happens the first time one invokes said "ADE_explorer>setup>select on design>outputs to be plotted", but it's frustrating nonetheless.

1a) At this point, the first reaction (at least for me) is to double click the top level block to descend edit back to whence I came. But of course this simply selects every I/O on the block as a viva output!

1b) Next - in the "old days", one could simply click the block again, and it would deselect all those outputs that you didn't actually want to look at, but this doesn't work any more.

2) Very often, I will either deselect an output to be viewed in the "output setup" window, or even delete it altogether, only to find on the next sim that they have magically been re selected or re-emerged from deletion!  I haven't managed yet to determine what procedure makes this happen but it's really frequent.

If I am doing something wrong, please let me know.
