Hello Cadence community,
I'm a newbie for using Cadence Virtuoso simulation bench to study the loop stability of a dc-dc converter. My setup is a dc voltage fed into a Full-bridge inverter and then connected to a LC network and magnetic coil. The secondary side is connected to a rectifier. The feedback loop that I have senses the output dc voltage of the rectifier, compares it with a reference, and then feeds it back into a controller to adjust the duty cycle of the full-bridge inverter, such that the rectifier voltage can remain at the reference value.
I would like to plot the loop gain of this controller. I have a couple of questions:
1. Do I need to use both PSTB and PSS to obtain the loop gain amplitude and phase?
2. Do I need to use iProbe component to run the above mentioned analysis?
