Hi,
I am running many transient simulations on a schematic by sweeping global variables in ADE XL. All I want to get out of these is a single transient trace per simulation.
I am however noticing that, in addition to the output signal specified in ADE XL, all transient node voltages are also saved. This results in unmanageable disk usage and severely reduces the number of simulations I can run in one go. The transient traces I care about amount to around 500MB when exported to a .tran PSF file, but the entire simulation results take up roughly 100GB.
I tried preventing all node voltages from being saved by changing the "Select signal to output (save)" from allpub to selected (and even none, just to try) in the "Save all..." menu of ADE XL's Outputs pane as well as in the Test editor (I also unchecked/set to None everything else in that menu). Still in the Test editor, I also set the Transient simulation output save option to selected, but none of these did anything as I'm still seeing significant disk usage and all the node voltages in the Results Browser.
Is there anything else I could try to get rid of this unnecessary data? Many thanks in advance for your help.
