can not generate functional view using nc-verilog

When I use cadence generate verilog model for top simulation

open a schematic , open  ade L, choose Launch ->Plugins->Simulation->NC-Verilog

the schematic had sub cells which have 'shematic view' ' functional view' and 'symbol view'

the functional view had rtl that I needed for simulation

but when I generate netlist ,the functional view can not be generated

how can I set in .simrc ,so that I can get what I want
