I need to characterize and generate .lib file for async OTP memory. In this case, what should be the observation window size?
My understanding is, that observation window needs to be wider than time between the related_pin changes and the time the output pin react (delay arc).
How is the observation windows size limited? My understanding is that window needs to be smaller than the time period, within which the ouput pin (or related pin) has only one edge. I know, that for clocked circuits, it should be 1/4 of clock period.
How to understand the start point and end point of observation window? I think there is not much information in manuals. Is the starting point of observation window the moment of change (edge) of related pin? Or the bench simulation time is split from the time 0 to the sections of observation_window size? (for example, if observation window is 100ns, then there will be solid window from 0 to 100ns, another window for 100ns to 200ns etc.
