I see a note in the cadence internal support about 

Zoom-In operation in ViVA increases memory usage

the below command is given to limit viva maxthreads, when I run this command, a new virtuoso session has been created, which is not what I want.

viva –maxthreads 1 & 

How to know if the virtuoso session that I am running has any limitation of matthreads? I get hanged with viva viewing waveforms (the session finally crashed even though my local machines has 16GB RAM). The database size is 1.8GB.
